Failed to start the game, executable file is missing

If you receive the error above error in most cases it is because Your Windows operating system is 32 bit instead of the required 64 bit.

To confirm which version of windows you have open your start menu and type "System" then click on the option "System" that pops up. on about the 5th line down in the window that pops up you will see "System Type" if it says 32-Bit Operating System then your PC is incompatible with Squad.

The only way to resolve this (if this is your scenario) is to re-install windows as a 64 bit OS. This also has the benefit of allowing your system to use more then 3GB of RAM (VRAM included) as this is a 32 bit limitation.

When I try to launch the game, I get an error.

The program can't start because MSVCP140.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem.

    I am running a 64bit OS.

How do reinstall this program and will it fix my problem?
